June 26, 2026 marked another key milestone for MOVE ON UP as partners from Portugal, Greece, Italy, and Croatia gathered in Thessaloniki, Greece, for the Q6.1 Meeting. Moving beyond general project updates, this onsite meeting enabled the consortium to focus on the technical progress and upcoming implementation activities across the project’s key work packages.
The agenda reflected the project’s transition from content development to digital implementation and pilot testing. Partners reviewed the completion of WP2 educational modules for healthcare professionals, caregivers, and people with Parkinson’s (PwP), together with the associated videos and multilingual translations.
Discussions under WP3 focused on the digitalisation of these resources through the MOOC platform and online training modules, as well as the technical specifications for the prompt messaging system and the results of ecological testing used to refine the platform. Under WP4, partners aligned on the launch of the pilot interventions, reviewing the piloting of the MOOC for healthcare professionals and PwP, participant recruitment plans, and the evaluation framework that will support the implementation phase.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to review dissemination activities, ethical approval procedures, and the upcoming project milestones. By combining technical alignment with productive face-to-face discussions, the Thessaloniki meeting laid a strong foundation for the next operational phase of MOVE ON UP.
