Today, MOVE ON UP officially kicked off with an online kick-off meeting. A key first step that brought all project partners together and set the tone for the months ahead. Xavier Melo opened the meeting by welcoming the group and clearly outlining the shared goal: working together to build a solid, practical project focused on people living with Parkinson’s disease. Each partner then introduced themselves, presenting their role, expertise, and the contribution they will bring to MOVE ON UP, from scientific research to physical activity, from digital training to community-based work.
The meeting also focused on the project’s vision, collaboration, and upcoming operational steps. The first organizational milestones were defined, along with key roles and the shared working tools that will support the project throughout its journey.
With this first meeting, MOVE ON UP has officially begun. Now the real work starts.
